You will play a key role in creating engaging content for various marketing campaigns and channels, including email, direct mail, packaging, and digital platforms.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality copy for Hotel Chocolat’s product descriptions, retail collateral, packaging, and the company’s exclusive Velvetiser™ drinking chocolate system. Working alongside a passionate and talented team, you will ensure that the brand’s sophisticated tone of voice is maintained across all customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Design Team to conceptualize marketing campaigns inspired by consumer insights.
- Create compelling and error-free content for multiple marketing channels that reflects the Hotel Chocolat brand.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Develop product/packaging copy with input from various departments, including Trading, Marketing, and Cocoa Innovation.
- Propose and present creative copy concepts to business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the brand’s storytelling and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in creative, insight-led copywriting for B2C brands, particularly for campaigns and packaging (client or agency-side).
- Experience in the luxury or food industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with design teams to co-create marketing materials.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (desirable).
- Knowledge of writing digital copy to improve SEO and drive online traffic (desirable).
