A significant expansion of CAR-T work will allow the post holder to gain additional valuable experience in this area. This JACIE-accredited service is led by a transplant director and staffed by a team of consultants and clinical nurse specialists. The post holder will work within a well-established team of Nursing Transplant Coordinators, two Post BMT Nurse Consultants and CNS and dedicated administrative support.
In addition, research and visiting fellows in the BMT program participate in clinics and follow-up of transplant patients. There is a transplant clinic once a week, a regular schedule for day unit reviews and a weekly nurse-led specialist late effects clinic.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Transplant Director and BMT consultant team. The post holder will gain a broad experience in all aspects of white cell hematology with a particular focus on the management of pre-BMT patients and those being evaluated for novel cellular therapies (CAR-T). This role may be suitable for non-UK or non-EEA job applicants who wish to apply for Home Office Tier 2 sponsorship.
